Reciprocal Links
A great way to increase traffic to your site is by trading links with other sites. This practice is called reciprocal
linking. Many sites look for reciprocal partners. Some sites will give you a text link and some will give you a
graphical image link.
The first thing you must find is a good reciprocal link partner. Here are some items to look for in potential partner
sites.
Related Site
Your link partner should have information on their site that is closely related to the information displayed on
your site. You want to attract viewers with the same interest.
Similar Traffic
You must also look for a partner that receives roughly the same amount of traffic as your site. If the traffic
amounts are significantly different then either you or the other site may say no to the relationship. Some sites
are willing to help you get started if you have a common interest or good content, especially Christian sites.
Your Request
When you approach your proposed partner be sure to include a few things with your request such as how to link to
your site (your url, banner, button if needed), your traffic amounts, and which specific page(s) their link would
appear. Make it easy for them to accept your request. You may want to go ahead and put their link on your site
before you contact them so they can see the link on your site when they get your request. Some sites will advertise
that they are looking for reciprocal partners such as the ones below. It takes a little effort, but it is worth
it. Search engines like to see sites with links from other sites also. To obtain linking instructions to us, please
